  • “Services” refers to all cleaning and related services provided by Nyota Cleaners, including residential, commercial, post-construction, deep cleaning, and any other service listed on our platforms.
  • “Platform” means our website, mobile application, email communication, or any tool used to deliver information or services.

2. Use of Our Services

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services.
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes.
  • Not misuse, copy, resell, or interfere with any part of the Platform.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at our discretion.

3. Booking, Pricing & Payments

3.1 Booking
Bookings may be made through our website, app, or customer service team.
All bookings are subject to confirmation and availability.

3.2 Pricing

  • Prices displayed on the Platform may change without notice.
  • Quotes for custom services remain valid only for the period stated in the quotation.

3.3 Payments
Payment may be made through:

  • Mobile money (M-Pesa)
  • Bank transfer
  • Card payment
  • Cash (where applicable)

Late payments may attract additional charges.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the appointment at no cost.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may attract a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
  • No-shows may be billed at 100%.

Nyota Cleaners may reschedule services in the case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Service Delivery

  • Our cleaners will perform the Services with reasonable care, skill, and professionalism.
  • Clients must ensure safe access to the premises.
  • Nyota Cleaners is not responsible for areas that cannot be safely reached or accessed.

If you are unsatisfied, you must report issues within 24 hours for rectification.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate details about the property and cleaning needs.
  • Secure all valuables before service begins.
  • Notify us of any hazards, fragile items, or special instructions.

Nyota Cleaners is not liable for damage arising from undisclosed risks or hazardous conditions.

7. Damages & Liability

While we take great care during service:

  • Nyota Cleaners is not liable for normal wear and tear or pre-existing damage.
  • Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of the service.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

We may offer repair, replacement, or reimbursement at our discretion.

8. Safety & Security

  • All employees undergo background checks and training.
  • Clients must ensure the safety of our staff while on-site.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw service if the premises are unsafe.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Nyota Cleaners collects and processes personal information in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019).
We do not sell client data to third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our Platform including text, logos, images, branding, and software—is the property of Nyota Cleaners and cannot be copied or reproduced without permission.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Abuse staff verbally or physically
  • Misuse our Platform
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Engage in fraudulent activities

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

12. Termination

Nyota Cleaners may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Unsafe or abusive behavior

You may also discontinue using our Services at any time.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes will be handled through negotiation, mediation, or the Kenyan court system.
